The Chinese Student and Scholar Association is founded in 1989. Its primary mission is to advocate the communication and interaction among the Chinese students, scholars and local Chinese communities at the University of Maryland, College Park.

We help new Chinese students adapt to the US culture and society, assist current students in recreational activities, and network with Chinese scholars and alumni to form a strong bond in the Chinese community.
